Scanning

Find every cookie, and who set it

Pages are opened in a real browser with your scripts running, so cookies set by tags and third parties are found too.
Pages are visited as someone who has not answered the banner and as someone who has accepted, so you see what each of them gets.
Each cookie is recorded with the page and the script or response that set it — the answer to "where does this come from?".
Sites are scanned again on a schedule, so a tool added last week shows up without anyone remembering to ask.

Classification

Known cookies are recognised from a catalogue we maintain, and from the tags that set them.
Cookies nobody recognises go on a list for you to place. A person decides; a guess never becomes the answer on its own.
Your classification of a cookie beats every other for your sites.

Cookie policy

The policy lists the cookies actually found, in the categories you approved.
Every version is kept, with a review step before it is published, so you can show what it said and when.
Link to it or embed it. It is available in English, Danish, German, Norwegian and Swedish.

Consent banner

Enforcement

It holds back the tags it recognises — from our library of trackers and your own rules — until their category is granted.
When consent is withdrawn, the cookies those tags set are cleared.
Google Consent Mode signals follow the visitor's choice, and Global Privacy Control can be honoured.

Documentation

Each answer is stored with a timestamp and the banner version it was given on.
Visitors can see, change and withdraw their consent from your cookie policy page.
If the snippet disappears from a site, you are told — before a visitor finds out.
